Former Strictly Come Dancing judge and renowned ballerina Darcey Bussell swaps her dancing shoes for walking boots as she explores the stunning landscapes and beautiful islands off the west coast of Scotland for a More 4 travel programme.
Uist is the setting tonight (Monday) as Darcey comes face to face with the Eriskay pony on their native island.
She also helps at herding Highland cattle at Vallay Strand on North Uist. It’s a spectacular crossing across the sands and all goes well until the animals baulk at getting their legs wet.
Traditional scything needs a touch of swing and slow graceful movements as the 51-year-old Londoner discovers on a visit to Loch Sandary.
Darcey also meets up with piper and Gaelic singer Chloe Steele of South Uist.
Darcey Bussell's Wild Coasts of Scotland is on More4 at 9pm.
