Sirs,

As a parent of a five-year-old attending Paible School I have grave concerns about the lack of priority that is given for children travelling to school.

For the life of me I can't understand how CNES thinks it is acceptable for our children to travel on ungritted roads. We live in a society that has health and safety thrown down are necks but it seems our council are exempt from this.

The roads that take our children to school need to be made safe, right up to the school gate. Children's safety should be paramount. There is no excuse. They need a change in policy to get those gritters deployed earlier.
