Customer Service Agents
Full and Part Time Available
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, flexible and motivated people who have
excellent communication and customer service skills to join our team at Stornoway
Customer Service Agents have varied duties, including: checking in of passengers
and luggage, processing customer tickets, provide updates on flight arrival and departure
times, advise on aircraft boarding procedures, ensure compliance with safety and
security regulations and making accommodation/travel bookings for passengers when
flights are cancelled.
In addition, CSAs work outside (in all weathers) on the ramp, guiding passengers
to/from the aircraft, moving luggage and operating plant and equipment around the
Previous experience of working in an airport or similar customer service role would
be advantageous. However, it is not essential as full training will be given. The
successful candidates will ideally hold a full DVLA driving licence.
A full time contract has 40 basic hours per week with opportunities for over time.
Weekend working is part of the normal roster, to deliver the 7 day a week flight
As you will anticipate, due to factors such as weather and disruption, additional
hours will require to be worked, at short notice, to deliver the operation and assist
passengers. The need to be flexible is therefore a requirement of the role.
