The Crofting Commission is to receive £300,000 extra more to carry out its work next
The increase has been allocated though the recently announced Scottish Government
Russell Smith, chair of the Scottish Crofting Federation (SCF) welcomed the move.
He said: “Crofting very clearly provides for rural Scotland and it is heartening
to see that Scottish Government recognise this and the importance of resourcing the
Crofting Commission to do its job in administering crofting.”
