A grant scheme is offering up to £1,500 to help community groups improve, maintain and promote their local community paths.

Paths for All funding can be used to buy tools, materials and insurance, or hire a contractor, plant and machinery.

Installing signage and way markers are also eligible under the scheme.

Groups using the path grading system could be helped to produce new leaflets or promotional materials.

Some communities have received money to plant native trees and shrubs or sow a wildflower meadow.

The closing date for expression of interest forms is 19 May.
