The Embark Project

Volunteering Hebrides is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Community Activities Co-ordinator to deliver its new Embark Project.

We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic and encouraging individual who enjoys working with people, has a keen eye for detail and is able to plan and prioritise effectively within a busy and sensitive environment.

The co-ordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating a wide range of activities in the local community, which will include: activity clubs, social events and training opportunities.

Duties will also include recruiting, training and managing volunteers, carrying out risk assessments, creating and maintaining strong partnerships with external agencies and accurately carrying out all related administration.

Salary £22,000 to £24,000, full time 35 hours per week
