Clinical Pharmacist

 

 

Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis

 

Grade:   7

 

Salary:  29,789 to 39,273  

 

Contract:  FullTime

 

 

This post is based at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway. As a result of further development in pharmaceutical care and Medicines Management this post gives excellent opportunities for an experienced, self-motivated pharmacist to help to continue the development of clinical pharmacy services at this 163 bed hospital.

 

The post-holder will be one of three clinical pharmacists working at the Western Isles Hospital and will be responsible for the development of clinical pharmacy services to a number of wards with opportunities available to develop services in patient counselling, self-medication and patients own medication programmes etc.

 

Development of management skills will be encouraged, as the Band 7 posts assume responsibility for the service in the absence of the Chief Pharmacist.
