Three cars were damaged in a careless driving collision on 25 December.

Stuart Macleod smacked his car into a stationary vehicle at Cearn Shodaidh, Stornoway, causing it to move forward and hit another stationary car.

At Stornoway Sheriff Court, the 18-year-old of Riverview, Newmarket, Lewis, admitted driving without due care and attention.

What would have been a £300 fine was reduced to £200 for his early plea. The fine is to be paid at £20 minimum monthly instalments. The teenager also received three penalty points.
