The annual Lewis Christian Conference takes place this weekend.
The speaker is Rev Dr Joel R. Beeke who is
President of Puritan Reformed Theological
Seminary in Michigan, USA.
He is also the pastor of the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan,
editor
of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, editorial director of Reformation Heritage
Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-
Dr Beeke has written and co-
His PhD is in Reformation and Post-
theology from Westminster Theological
Seminary.
The theme of the conference is “Pursuing Godliness” with meetings on Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings at 7.30pm.
On Sunday Dr Beeke will preach in Stornoway Free Church (continuing) at 11 am and
at Knock Free Church, Garrabost at 6pm. A fellowship meeting will follow at 8pm.
