SUPERVISOR / SHIFT MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE:
To lead a small team in running a busy fish and chip shop
DUTIES:
· Frying food to a high standard / Preparation of all food.
· Serving customers and assisting the team.
· Supervising counter staff.
· Stock control.
· Organise staffing to deliver excellent customer service.
· Prepare shop for shift.
· Maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards.
· Ensure accurate recordings of temperatures.
· Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence in food quality, presentation and service.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
· Managerial or Supervisor experience desirable however training will be offered to the right candidate.
· Catering experience preferred, although training will be provided.
· The ideal candidate will be committed and focused on delivering a professional service and have a positive attitude to customer care and managing others.
· They will be able to work on their own initiative, and as well as part of a team, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
· They will also have the ability to work and cope under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly and cheerful disposition.
· Must be able to provide references which will be checked
WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS
· Average of 35-
· Starting salary between £8 -
· Overtime/ Shifts covered – Paid at time & a half.
· Start Date: This role is to start ASAP.
· 28 days annual leave inclusive of 4 days public holiday
