Staff at the Department for Work and Pensions,
In Stornoway are undertaking a charity sponsored walk on Friday.
The group is raising funds in aid of Alzheimer’s Western Isles with a two hour trek along the old Achmore Road.
They plan to set off at 4pm from Achmore -
Escorts wearing high visibility waistcoats will be at front and back of walkers and the group asks drivers to be aware and take care when passing.
Donations on the route would be appreciated.
