Three Lewis groups have been awarded grants from Tesco’s carrier bag charge fund.
The supermarket teamed up with Groundwork to launch the second round of its Bags
of Help funding initiative -
Tesco customers chose which local project they would like to get the top award using
a token given to them at the check-
The results were announced today means Guth Airson Iarrtasan Nis (GAIN) will receive £12,000.
£10,000 is being awarded to Horshader Community Development while a £8,000 grant goes to Pairc Trust.
