Careless driving

Levi Heron of Bayhead, Stornoway, was fined £200 for careless driving when he appeared at Stornoway Sheriff Court.

The 19-year-old pleaded guilty to driving too close to an on-duty fireman who was attending a call-out to Cromwell Street, Stornoway last October.

Five penalty points were also imposed on his licence.
