A motorist forced oncoming traffic to take evasive action to avoid a collision, Stornoway Sheriff Court heard.
Joshua Hedley pleaded guilty to careless driving in a Citroen Berlingo on the Lochs Road outside Stornoway.
The court heard the offence occurred in May this year when the 31-
Hedley of Plasterfield, Stornoway, was fined £500.
