Car crash

A woman has been injured in a car crash on Lewis.

Two vehicles collided by the Laxdale bridge, outside Stornoway after 11am.

Ambulance and police are attending the incident.

The casualty - who is in her 50s - received leg and head injuries which are not believed to be serious. She is being treated at the scene.

Traffic is slowly getting past the accident scene with tailbacks expected.
