Campervan plans for closed school

The former playground area of old Seilebost School could have a new lease of life housing campervans.

Planning permission for five campervan pitches – including electrical hook-ups for vehicles with their own facilities – is currently being sought by the West Harris Trust.

Seilebost School in Harris closed in July 2013 and now houses West Harris Trust offices.

The playground site already has a existing water supply and it is hoped permission will be granted for five campervan pitches and three electrical hook-ups.

The area is currently used by West Harris Trust staff for car parking.
