The MV Hebrides had an extremely busy day on Tuesday, carrying stranded Lewis-bound
traffic from other ferries in addition to her own vehicle bookings.
A back-log of vehicles built up at Uig harbour in Skye because the Stornoway ferry,
MV Isle of Lewis, cancelled sailings for the second day in a row due to bad weather.
Neither did the Stornoway freight vessel, MV Clipper Ranger, make the crossing.
The Hebrides carried a packed car-deck on her two runs from Harris as well as her
Lochmaddy voyages.
