All bus services departing Stornoway after 6pm this evening are subject to disruption or cancellation at short notice due to icy road conditions.
The last bus to Ness and the Westside this evening departs Stornoway at 7.30pm. All later journeys on the route are cancelled.
Ice is forming on many roads and pathways due to freezing temperatures. Slippery conditions are expected to continue well into Thursday morning.
In addition, wintry showers are forecast for the Western Isles this evening.
