Building Energy Modeller
GSH is a leading provider of technology driven facilities and energy management solutions.
We now have an exciting opportunity at our Tarbert office for a Building Energy Modeller
Job purpose
To train and become proficient in the use of IES Software.
Duties include
- Modelling buildings using IES software
- Developing a standard offering to the business which provides baseline energy requirement figures of buildings modelled.
- Modifying existing models and documentation as required and establishing a model library
- Operating and maintaining IES software
- Identifying and escalating any relevant issues
- Ensuring that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records are maintained accurately.
Qualifications/experience
Applicants must have a good standard of education, with previous experience in a similar or related building services role.
Good knowledge and experience of CAD drawing packages, IES energy modelling portfolio of products, building services and energy issues within building would be advantageous, although some training will be given.
Candidates who do not fill all criteria but can demonstrate comparable experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
