Three new members are being sought for Bòrd na Gàidhlig, the national language body for Gaelic.

Vacancies have arisen as a third of the present nine directors on the government agency are stepping down soon.

 

Ideal candidates will have “new, inventive, challenging and inspiring ideas” about securing the future of Gaelic.  

The appointments are part-time and members are expected to give a minimum time commitment of 36 days per year - approximately  three days per month - to Bòrd business.
