Police are warning people against bogus workmen, rogue traders and cold callers who turn up on people’s doorsteps.

Police urge islanders to be vigilant over callers offering services for cash, for work which is usually very poor and not worth the high price.

Anyone with information or concerns regarding bogus callers  in their neighbourhood can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
