A body has been found following an air, land and sea search for a missing man.

 

The family of Steven Campbell has been informed said police.

 

Mr Campbell was reported missing from the Point area of Lewis.

 

The 37-year-old was wearing lightweight clothing when believed.

 

He was last seen on Monday, it is believed and was wearing jogging bottoms, a t-shirt and trainers.

 

Stornoway lifeboat and the coastguard search helicopter scoured the sea and cliffs around the Bràighe, Knock and Swordale coastline.

 

Coastguard volunteer teams  and members of Hebrides Mountain Rescue Team searched on shore.

 

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed Mr Campbell’s family has been made aware that a body was found.
