Lifeboat aids boat grounded on rocks 26/2/14

Four were transferred on to the Leverburgh lifeboat and there was a long wait for the rising tide to float her.
Just after noon, the volunteer RNLI crew attached a tow rope to her and pulled her off the rocks.
The fishing boat vessel steamed to Uig Pier, under her own power, escorted by the lifeboat, for inspection.
Two weeks ago the same vessel broke down off North Uist and the Leverburgh lifeboat towed her to safety.
