Better Together happy with trend 19/9/14
With the arrival of the Uists and Barra ballot boxes imminent, Better Together’s Alasdair Morrison believes the No trend will continue.
He said: “We’re not worried about any part of the islands. We’ve seen the postal
votes have continued the Lewis and Harris trend of No and they are counted on an
island-
Mr Morrison added: “More boxes have been opened and more votes counted and the encouraging No trend continues.”
The plane carrying votes from Barra, the Uists and Benbecula arrived at Stornoway airport just after 1am and ballot boxes expected shortly.
