A fundraising event in aid of the Bethesda hospice takes place on Saturday.
A light lunch is being hosted in the MA Memorial Hall in Stornoway between 12 noon and 2pm.
Cash raised from the event goes towards the running of the hospice which provides care for people who are terminally ill.
Care is provided free of charge regardless of race, creed or religion.
Around half of the running costs are met by the NHS and the 50% shortfall of around £230,000 per year must be raised from charitable contributions, grants and fundraising.
