The next Barrathon is to be held on Saturday 25th June, organisers have announced.
The annual Barra half marathon follows a clockwise course around the island with the most punishing part near the end, going through Brevig, on a steady climb round the eastern slopes of Heaval, until Kismul Castle peeks into view.
The fun run and junior fun run will take place on the same date.
Online registration is due to open by late January.
