Four of the famous Rangers team who won the European Cup Winners Cup in 1972 in Barcelona
have arrived in Stornoway ahead of an event to mark the 45th anniversary of the match.
The game against Soviet team Dynamo Moscow was third time lucky for Rangers to lift
European silverware. The club lost the previous two in 1961 and 1967.
It was also the first time a Soviet team made it to the final.
The victory is enshrined as one of the top achievements for Rangers.
Colin Stein scored one goal while Willie Johnston netted two.
The pair join another two Barca Bears - Peter Mcloy and Dave Smith - to meet with
fans in the Lewis and Harris Rangers’ Supporters Club tonight.
