The bakery has exported a pallet of their Stornoway Water Biscuits and seaweed biscuits range to Moscow.
Stag biscuits are now on the shelves of some of the top gourmet Russian food stores including Tsum, one of the most renowned high end department stores in the country’s capital, located opposite the Bolshoi Theatre.
Charlie Macdonald, owner of the bakery said: “It is fantastic to see that Stag has international appeal.
“For the first time this year, we took part in an international trade show in Germany and as a result have had phenomenal interest in the Stag brand from all over the world.”
He believes there is huge potential for the island firm in international markets.
He added: “We are concentrating on growing our export sales and hoping to penetrate a number of markets this year. We are very much looking forward to the future.”
