Alleged assault                   4/9/10           

A man is due to appear at Stornoway Sheriff Court tomorrow over a charge of alleged assault. It follows an incident at the Clan Macquarie Hall in Borve, Lewis at 1.10am yesterday morning. The 26-year-old is accused of assaulting a female and has been held in custody at Stornoway police station until his court appearance.

A teenager from Stornoway is due to at Stornoway Sheriff Court tomorrow. She is accused of breaching her bail curfew which was imposed just hours before she was allegedly caught out of doors on Friday.  

A male was allegedly caught in possession of illegal drugs in the Stornoway area on Friday. The 19-year-old is being kept in custody and is expected to appear in court on Monday. A substance was found in his possession in the Torquil Terrace and Maclennan Place area of town.
