Advocacy Western Isles is recruiting for:


Advocacy Worker (25 hours/week), based in Uist or Barra

This post will be working with the Uist and Barra Advocacy Manager who is based in Uist

  

Advocacy Worker (30 hours/week), based in the Stornoway office


For both posts:

£25,480/annum (pro rata), rising £27,027/annum (pro rata) after probation + pension

Driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential.  Mileage paid monthly

Full advocacy training will be provided


Independent Advocacy aims to ensure people’s voices are heard, they are listened to, their rights are upheld, and they are involved in decisions made about them.

The main duties of an Advocacy Worker is to provide issue based independent advocacy to a range of adults with mental health issues, social care needs, learning disabilities and/or alcohol and drug issues.


Administrator (35 hours/week), based in the Stornoway office

Salary commensurate with experience and to be reviewed after probation

Starting salary between £22,750 and £23,660 per annum + pension

The main duties of the Administrator is to be responsible for all administration duties and for directing the work of the Assistant Administrator.


Advocacy Western Isles office is based in Stornoway with a full team of 12
