Secondment opportunity


Applications are invited for the above post which will be based at Stornoway or Balivanich.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the Outer Hebrides ADP.


You will be responsible, at a strategic level, for developing and ensuring implementation of interagency strategies and action plans for addressing substance use and misuse in the Western Isles and for providing support to the Chair and Members of the ADP. You will work in partnership with local authority departments, Police Scotland, NHS Western Isles, local service providers, voluntary sector and community groups.


This post could provide an ideal secondment opportunity for a suitable person wishing to expand their experience of service development and partnership working. A professional degree qualification in a relevant discipline is essential. Experience and knowledge of substance misuse and of multi agency working is required.
